TEAM AND ORGANIZATION

Brav has an operating model where each brand is given significant opportunities to develop its own unique identity and culture, but with strong common functions in areas where synergies can be realized. The management team thus consists of the following persons and functions.

Tomas Holmestad

Chief Executive Officer

Responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of the company. He joined the company in 2016, and has been in office since 2017. Mr Holmestad is a qualified civil engineer from NTNU Trondheim and TU Darmstadt, and has a working background at McKinsey & Company, Statoil Fuel & Retail (now Circle K), and as the CEO of the Lillehammer 2016 youth Olympic games.

Kjell Magne Sunde

Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for all finance, accounting and legal functions globally, including looking after the human resources function in the group. Mr Sunde is also responsible for the IT and digitalization team and business development, including looking after the investment in skisporet.no and Hard Rocx. Mr Sunde holds an MBA from The Norwegian School of Economics, and has a working background at PwC and Nammo. He joined Brav in 2011.

Per Henning Grimsrud

Chief Supply Chain Officer

Responsible for all sourcing, production and transportation worldwide for all brands. He is also responsible for the compliance and sustainability work in the group. Mr Grimsrud joined Brav in 2008. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming. Prior to joining Brav, Mr Grimsrud held leading management positions at Posten Norge and Iveco, and worked as a consultant at Hartmark Consulting.

Gina Loven

Chief Commercial Officer

Responsible for the management and development of the total sales function across all brands and geographies. This includes all strategic key account management and the management of the total sales force. Ms Loven has been working at Brav since 2009. Prior to joining Brav, she worked for Finor, Seasport and Outdoor AS

Åge Skinstad

Brand Director Swix & Toko

Leads and develops the Swix and Toko brands, with total P&L responsibility for the brands. Develops and implements the brand platform and strategy, including product offering and market positioning. Mr Skinstad joined Brav in 2017. Prior to joining Brav, Mr Skinstad held positions as head of cross-country skiing at the Norwegian ski federation (overseeing 10 Olympic gold medals and 34 World Championship gold medals), commercial manager at Adidas, racing manager at Madshus, and Director at NHO. Mr Skinstad holds a Cand. Mag from the University of South-Eastern Norway.

Henrik Ottosson

Brand Director Lundhags

Leads and develops the Lundhags brand, with total P&L responsibility for the brand. Develops and implements the brand platform and strategy, including product offering and market positioning. Mr Ottosson joined Lundhags as CEO in 2010, a brand that was integrated into Brav in 2012. Prior to that, he held several management positions at Haglöfs, after some years in the retail business at Stadium in Sweden.

Jim Tore Bakerød

Brand Director Helsport

Leads and develops the Helsport brand, with total P&L responsibility for the brand. Develops and implements the brand platform and strategy, including product offering and market positioning. Mr Bakerød has a background of management positions in the Gresvig group, and joined Brav in 2012. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Business Management from the Norwegian Business School (BI), and an Honors degree in Advanced Strategic Management from Stellenbosch University (South Africa).

Lars Thronsen

Brand Director Ulvang

Leads and develops the Ulvang brand, with total P&L responsibility for the brand. Develops and implements the brand platform and strategy, including product offering and market positioning. Mr Thronsen has an MBDA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He joined Brav in 2010. Prior to that, he held a management position at Craft.
